Executive Committee of AOGO consists of

Chairman		Sashi Mukundan is the Chairman of AOGO. Sashi Mukundan was appointed Region President in April 2011 in addition to his role as Head of Country, India, BP Group Companies, a post he has been holding since April 2009. In these twin capacities, he leads the Exploration and Production business in India and oversees the operations of all BP group companies in the country. He sits on the boards of Castrol India and Tata BP Solar (joint venture between BP Solar and Tata Power). Sashi also spearheads group level business development initiatives to build a material business for BP in India. He was closely involved in nurturing the landmark partnership between BP and Reliance Industries Limited (one of India�s largest private companies) across the gas value chain, culminating in the biggest foreign direct investment into India to date. Sashi started his career in California in 1981 with ARCO (BP�s predecessor company) and has steered a variety of businesses in the Asia Pacific region. In his previous role as Country Manager for E&P and Gas in India, he led business development by helping BP secure entry into Deepwater E&P and LNG in India. He has 29 years of experience in strategic planning, finance and commercial business development in a variety of assignments in the USA and Asia. He holds a BS degree in Physics and an MBA in Marketing from Bombay University. After completing his studies in India, he went to Los Angeles, California and obtained an MBA in Finance.

Director		Mr. Ajay Khandelwal is the Director of AOGO. Ajay Khandelwal is an Electrical Engineering graduate from Victoria Jubilee Technical Institute, Mumbai and holds a Masters in Business Administration from Cranfield School of Management, UK. Ajay joined Jubilant Group in 2009 after approximately 16 years of diverse experience in multinational corporations in various areas including business development, finance, M&A and private equity investment in oil & gas, energy and infrastructure sectors in India, the Middle East, Europe and Asia. Before moving to Delhi in August 2009, Ajay was based in London where he stayed for just over a decade. Ajay�s interest include running, hockey and football. Ajay has completed London, Rotterdam, Mumbai and North pole marathon in addition to multiple half marathon including Delhi Airtel half marathon. Ajay�s next target is to complete Marathon Grand slam (i.e. one marathon in every continent ).

Secretary General		Ashu Sagar is a founding member & Secretary General of AOGO. AOGO members� today account for more than 99% of oil & gas explored and produced in India. Ashu is a Mechanical Engineer, with an MS in Operations Research from University of California, Berkeley. He is a gold medalist. Ashu has a career spanning multiple disciplines and industries. He has worked with Ford Motors, BASF, Tata�s, Mitsubishi and Hardy Exploration. Ashu has held Chief Executive positions for more than 20 years. He has been associated with Oil Industry since 1997. Past Chairman		Sastry Karra is the Past Chairman of AOGO. Sastry is a co-founder of Hardy Oil. A Petroleum Engineer from Alberta with an MS in Chemical Engineering from University of Calgary, Sastry has over forty years in Oil industry including periods with Husky, Ashland & Gulf Canada Resources. He has held senior positions with Occidental Libiya, Petronas Malaysia. Sastry has taught Petroleum Engineering at University of Ibadan, Nigeria; published many papers in Canadian JPT and SPE, and handled many consulting assignments.
